It's the new spam technique that I've noticed in other posts as well. I think the goal is to get people to click on the link that takes you to a marketing website. Very annoying.

I've noticed that this site gets10times or more spam, than the old format ever got. It's irritating as hell. When I think about it.This is the only forum site that I ever seen spam on,and I'm a frequent browser/member of quite a few.Matt

The landscaping has been completed around Eagle's Eye, and I'm officially, if arbitrarily, calling this the end of construction. What a long haul.

Lovely balance of elements! I especially love the paver design and circular sitting wall. They balance the house wonderfully. Well done by that contractor. Considering the first landscape dude you spoke with, the lesson is to search for the right contractor and don't just settle on the first one to ring the doorbell.

Congratulations on being finished!

Thanks to all for your kind comments. If it were only true that the work on the house was really done, as they never are. But at least the biggies are now done.

Jim, you probably had no idea when you designed it, but then again, you probably did, that the window wall overhang, plus the 120 degree angles of the two wings there created an excellent band shell effect for my two outdoor stereo speakers, centered above the windows on the two outside wings. I think you can see one of them in the landscaping pictures. The sound is unbelievably awesome for outdoors, great bass, great stage image, and it fills the entire landscaped area. Good thing the neighbors are kind of far away!

The landscaping looks great! The paver work is awesome! I love pavers, they add such a rich looking beauty to gardens/yards. September is such a nice month to enjoy the outdoors in. Perfect timing to kick back and relax.
Thanks for the pictures,
Christine

Bob

The place looks great. I really like the augments and the turret. :D

I went to Tech School in Columbus and really miss the falls. Has the weather started to get cool yet and have the leaves started to change?

The weather in Texas is still hot and I can't wait till fall.

Thanks for the pictures.... :D
