The Yorkie Dome in Mesa, AZ - tour

Postby donw » Wed Aug 12, 2009 5:14 pm

I just found this dome on the Dome Tour and wondered if the owners ever visited this BBS. http://www.monolithic.com/stories/yorkie-dome-mesa-arizona/photos I definitely will be attending their tour in October. It will be the first MD I've actually seen. I did a search here but didn't find the name. I wonder who designed it and who built it.

You should take a trip to Vegas and check out FenixDome. :D

I'd love to. I've been reading the long thread and looking at the pictures on their web site.

If you can get Jim Kaslik to design and Ray Ansel to build your dome you can't go wrong.

Yeah, Jim is practically my neighbor. He has already responded to one of my posts - very helpful. For a builder, I've heard good things about Mert Hull, too.

Yes Mert is top notch also. Mountain View is proof of that. I would like to pull together a team of builders and designers to do a residence inn type development that everyone shares the profits on.
