Attention all "Domies." Feel like discussing non-dome related topics, like "Cotton vs. Polyester" or "The real story behind monster trucks?" This is the place.

Our Dream

Since day one my wife has never stopped talking about the dome home.. always catching any tv shows featuring dome around the world.. From my understanding.. and I agree with her idea. She wants to buy about 200 acres of land..(if not more) Set up a main dome in the center to use a a club house/art museum etc, would contain all the necessary tools and equipment for the inspiring artist. Designated areas for each artist to show case their talents and offer demonstrations.

Several smaller domes (dome cabins) located about the land scape round the main dome, for the artisans to live and work in.. Sort of a dome campground/Zen garden but devoted to the arts and the artist. Meandering paths and trails for customers to stroll through landscaped areas and past the artisans work areas, where the artist can sell their art.

However, we just can't seem to hit the lotto to pull something like this off..

I guess what I'm saying.. is that anyone playing the lotto today and they win.. tend to go out and buy stuff they want.. and never give back to their community.. I recall watching this one show.. something like "how I because a millionaire etc" where this family won 25 mill and turned around and bought an expensive car.. but was "adding on" to their mobile home.. where is the honor in this?.. All I see is miss management of funds.

Our dome complex idea "is" all about giving back to those who inspire us as well as inspiring students and artist..
