While chocolate chip cookies are one of my favorites, Christmas cookies bring back so many good memories that I couldn't help but voting on them.
At Christmas my mom and I would go down town to shop for presents. We would get to see all the lights and have a special outing. Before we would go back home she would stop at the local 5 & 10 and get a tin of their special made Christmas cookies. When we would open the tin the most marvelous scent would permeate my senses. It was a combination of almonds and butter.

Too bad the poll didn't last longer, I would have voted for oatmeal raisin cookies as well. I make mine with Splenda now to cut down on my sugar intake.
